The Find: Halfway down Trafalgar Street near Brighton Central Station is Coffee @ 33, bringing those cheeky Monmouth beans to the South coast.

Now, if you've ever been to Fernandez and Wells you may experience a degree of deja-vu in this place.... A big wooden bar fills most of the under-stated space with bar style stools making up the rest. Chalk boards, white take-away cups and a Marzocco machine top off the similarity. Nevertheless, what these guys are doing here can't be criticised. They serve quality coffee which cannot be knocked.

Stuffed coffee sacks are used as seats in the windows which is a really nice look. They also sell cookie dough to take away and bake at home which is kind of cool.

They have a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes which are displayed in a very artistic fashion on the bar - so order yourself a Flat White and tuck into their tasty delights.

A very good bet for coffee in Brighton

(p.s. if they just gave the front a lick of paint this place would be a far nicer experience!)
