With the same owner as Edinburgh’s much loved Wellington Coffee (http://www.thecafehunter.co.uk/2009/04/wellington-coffee.html) and Press Coffee round the corner it isn’t surprising that Kilimanjaro Coffee is paving the way for coffee lovers all over Edinburgh.
They have a straightforward menu – a few sandwiches and paninis, a selection of soups and not forgetting the Kili-breakfast for £5.80 which gets you the works ... haggis and all.
The decor is unfussy and practical – furnished with plain and simple wooden chairs, photos of Africa on the walls and a big window for people watching. It's not a place you'll remember for the interiors. A single red sofa is the pick of the seats – grab it if you can.
You’ll be glad to know it’s open most of the week .... including early evenings and Sundays.
